Finally, a first page that won't make me hate myself in the morning. I feel as I've sufficiently indulged my masochistic hardon for a) crowd scenes b) backgrounds and c) manservants in turbans.
Obviously, this is a raw version -- it still needs dialogue, a better scan of the last panel, and some tones. But it's a start!
